Here are a few theories and spoilers for Lost, which will hopefully be addressed this season:

*SPOILERS - beware!*

The Coffin:
They are supposed to address this in the last episodes (either 4x12 or 4x13)
I'm pretty sure it's Michael. In MKJ, before adopting the identity or even knowing about "Kevin Johnson", Michael's mom says she can't even call him by his real name. In that newspaper article Jack was clutching in the FF from TTLG, it said a man named John Lantham (I think) of New York was found hanging from a beam (or something) and was survived by his teenage son. Who else has a teenage son?? It would make sense that Kate wouldn't go to the funeral because Michael betrayed them (ya know the whole thing with the Others taking them hostage while he and Walt sailed off for home?)

I've also been thinking about how the island won't let him die. My theory is that he gets them all rescued or does whatever the island "wants" him to do and is finally released. He gets back home and finally kills himself. He's pretty much ready to do it anyways, so he gets salvation (death) when he finally redeems himself (saves the island from discovery?). Kind of sad really...Not sure if any of this has any merit; Michael did say that he was on the boat to die, so maybe this is all just coincidence, but to me at least, it all seems a little too coincidental with the fake name, the being from NY, the previous suicide attempts and the teenage son.

Kate and Aaron
MY theory - just my ideas, not necessarily true:
Claire dies this season (which is really sad because i love her) in some fire or raid that happens at the barracks. I assume this based on the promo for 4x09 when Hurley, while carrying Aaron asks "isn't that Claire's house?", as he look out the window. Somehow Jack is involved in this which explains why he doesn't want to see Aaron. He feels guilty for what happened to Claire. I assume Jin is also somehow involved in this and that is how he dies on the island. The whole Jin thing might be completely wrong, the scene at the funeral could be a show for whoever is watching the O6 and he could still be alive on the island, but I can't think of a reason why he would stay - away from Sun and their baby. It's possible that some deal had to be made, where only six could leave the island and Claire chose to give up Aaron so he could have a better life; the same might go for Jin - as he'd want Sun (and their unborn child) to have a better life as well; BUT this does not explain Jack's apparent guilt. I'm unsure why the responsibility falls on Kate, however, unless Claire told her that if anything happened to her, that she should raise him - but again, she'd have to willingly enter danger for that, and I can't really see Claire stepping it up like that, but hey, maybe she has it in her or was inspired by Charlie to sacrifice herself.

The Frozen Donkey Wheel
For those of you that don't know, Darlton announced that the code name for this year's season-ending twist is "The Frozen Donkey Wheel." I'm not really sure how to interpret this. It could have to do with time being frozen? Or time being erratically knocked off course as if it was kicked by a donkey? I have no clue, all i know is that the codename is pretty odd. Any ideas?

Last Scene of the Season
Not sure how credible it is, but on DarkUFO it is written that the last scene is Jack and Kate (holding Aaron), looking back at the island from a helicopter and Jack saying "Now we can never go back". Pretty intense huh? I'm not sure if this is a foiler or not, however, so take it with a grain of salt. Definitely raises a lot of questions, which hopefully we will know some of the answers to by season's end, since they apparently are going to address how the O6 managed to get off the island.

SPECTACULAR MOMENT
Lately on the Spoilers board down at FF, everyone has been going crazy over a recent statement made by Damon in the latest Lost Magazine:
Q:Will there be any emerging romances on or off the Island? I feel the guys need some love!
A:"Romance is always blooming on and off the island. And just for you, I hereby promise you one of the most spectacular kisses you've ever seen on the show in this year's finale."

Pretty sure it's either Jack and Kate or Desmond and Penny. Here's why:
All shipping preferences aside, the only couples that seem to make sense in regards to a "SPECTACULAR" kiss would be Jate or Des/Penny. Sawyer and Kate and Jack and Juliet have already kissed, multiple times, so I'm not sure how any of those would be spectacular, even if it was goodbye. I think it'd be over-stating it.

I'm putting my money on some sort of Jack action - the finale is going to be Jack-centric, it would make the most sense. Saying goodbye is a pretty significant event, but I can't really see Sawyer and Kate having that long, tortured, hysterically crying, passionate goodbye. They just aren't that kind of couple. They're more like Bonnie and Clyde, not so much Allie and Noah (The Notebook). It's anyone's guess, I just don't see it being very likely... Jacket is a possibility, but has their relationship even gotten to that point? Of where goodbye would be a SPECTACULAR moment? Not too sure about them either, not much history there, unlike Jate and Des/Penny.

Knowing Darlton - Jack and Kate would be the most surprising of the pairings, so its most likely going to be them; especially since they haven't kissed since season 2 and we know they get off the island, so it's possible that we learn a bit more of the backstory behind their relationship and that this will happen in the future. Anyone who's seen the FF's knows that there is definitely some history there. It would leave with a cliff hanger which is exactly what the Lost writing staff LOVES to leave us with. It keeps us wondering. Des/Penny doesn't seem as likely, but maybe in a FF or sth, although the finale seems to be pretty set to be a Jack FF, so it'd make the most sense to end up with him on the receiving end. But hey, all of these spoilers could be wrong, so who really knows? Time to start writing those letters to Damon and Carlton!

The show isn't all about the dreaded triangle/square/pentagon, I wish they'd just end it already, preferably with Jack and Kate because Jack is awesome and Kate is awesome and they both deserve to be happy and I cannot STAND Juliet. Just end it and move along, it would make things a whole lot easier and the whole Jate vs. Skate debate would FINALLY end. Then we could ALL get back to being completely confused as an audience together.
